The Link Between Violence to People and Animals: Webinar recording available

Our webinar on 30 April addressesed the very important and sensitive issue of the link between violence to people and animals. Research has given evidence of the correlations and links between violence to people and animals, but there is still much to learn.  The enmeshed roe that animals play in family dynamics such as domestic violence, child and elder abuse requires understanding and community action. Learn how you can provide support to vulnerable individuals, both people and animals.

The panel was led by Prof.dr Marie-Jose Enders-Slegers and included Phil Arkow, President and Secretary of the National LINK Coalition, Janine Jansen, criminologist specialising in family violence and Rianne  Haaijema, Director of Mendoo, an association helping foster abused families and their pets.
