Information about past IAHAIO conferences and events can be accessed on these pages. They provide a wonderful insight on how HAI and AAI have expanded over the years and the main themes that have been addressed by researchers and practitioners during this time.
- 2025. Our 2 day conference “Well-being for all: Innovations and insights in human-animal interactions” took place in Amsterdam, 23-24 August. You can download the conference abstract book here.
- 2024. Our conference ‘The power of human-animal interactions in times of crisis’ took place in Romania, 3-4 September
- 2023. Our conference ‘Ageing and quality of life: Active inclusion through animal-assisted services’ took place online.
- 2022. Our conference ‘Changing perspectives on the human-animal relationship’ took place online 3-4 September.
- 2021. Our 2 day conference ‘Conversations and connections in a changed world took place online. An overview of the conference and recordings can be found here.
- 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the IAHAIO conference was cancelled. The AGM took place online and the agenda and presentations can be found here.
