IAHAIO launches new minimum standards for research in AAS/HAI/HAB

IAHAIO is very proud to launch its new position paper: Minimum standards for research in AAS/HAI and HAB. Aimed at researchers, practitioners, educators, funders, policy makers and students, among others, it outlines an approach to research that ensures scientific rigour, while placing human and animal welfare at the heart of research. Co-created with an international taskforce of researchers and practitioners working across disciplines, IAHAIO hopes that these Standards will encourage collaboration and enhance the quality of research undertaken in these fields. This is a living document and IAHAIO encourages comment and discussion. The Standards will be the subject of our first webinar in 2026.
