Agbonika, Sunday earned his DVM from Ahmadu Bello University in 2011 and a Certificate as a Human Animal Intervention Specialist (CHAIS) from Oakland University in 2021.
Sunday is the founder of Dogalov HumAn Support Initiative, a non-profit that is shaping the future of Human Animal Interactions in Africa and currently hosts the only annual HAI Conference in Africa, which usually attracts hundreds of participants across Africa and beyond.
Sunday’s organisation (Dogalov, for short) is a provisional member of IAHAIO and Sunday has presented as a panellist at past IAHAIO conferences or webinars.
Sunday is currently enrolled for a Masters in Animal Welfare and Behavior with the University of Pennsylvania and is a recipient of the T. Richard and Katherine Albro Houpt Scholarship Fund.
