I have always been passionate about animals and wanted to combine my passion and my job. I started working in the human-animal field in 2009 with horses and therapeutic riding.
After my degree in psychology, I applied at Green Chimneys as an intern and that was really a life changing experience, I learned so much and finally understood that I could turn my passion for nature and animals into a job. I continued to study and got a master’s degree in Animal Assisted Interventions.
Currently I work with dogs, horses, donkeys and farm animals. I am involved in different programs (visiting programs in nursing homes, residences for people with disabilities and hospitals, teaching farm programs, summer camps at the farm, educational programs about animals in schools and at the farm, animal assisted interventions for children with special needs).
