Former IAHAIO President, Rebecca Johnson, has passed away

We are very sad to learn that prof dr. Rebecca Johnson, President of IAHAIO 2010-2016, has recently passed away.  Rebecca was a proud and strong leader of our organization, overseeing a period of significant growth in membership, the launch of our online journal and dissemination of our White Paper on definitions. A highly respected researcher in human-animal interactions and a staunch supporter of the benefits of pets in our world, we are grateful for her immense impact and influence in the field and for her support of our organization. We extend our sincere condolences to all her friends and family at this difficult time.
