Membership categories

There are two membership categories within IAHAIO, based on the scope of activity of the organization within the field of human-animal interactions (HAI) and length of time the organization has been operating: affiliate membership and full membership.

All IAHAIO members enjoy a range of benefits and IAHAIO encourages member participation in the development of its policies, position statements etc. This is primarily through invitations to join IAHAIO task forces, special committees etc. – details are communicated with members through emails, online forums and the e-newsletter.

All members must to agree to the Terms and Conditions of membership and pay an annual membership subscription fee.

Note: IAHAIO Membership is only open to organizations.  If you are an individual not affiliated to an organization, but have an interest in the field and want to support the work of IAHAIO, please consider becoming an Individual Supporter.  Typically, individual supporters may be students, researchers or individual practitioners who are not associated with or work for an organization, but want to keep up-to-date with the field and support the work of IAHAIO.
